Valloire is a large ski resort, picturesquely situated in the Maurienne Valley and the Northern Alps at the foot of the famous Galibier Pass along with the village of Valmeinier. The resort offers 150 kilometers of ski slopes. Of these, as many as 60% of the routes are classified as easy, because this region is popular with beginners and families with children, of course, there were also more difficult routes. In addition to 90 kilometers marked in green, there are also 50 kilometers of routes marked as red and 10 kilometers of black routes, so everyone will find a route suited to their skills. The downhill runs are located at 1,430-2,600 meters above sea level, but most of them are above 2,000 meters. If you add more than 400 snow cannons currently at the resort’s disposal, you can be sure that the snow conditions in Valloire will satisfy even the most demanding skiers and snowboarders.

The ski area of ​​the resort in Valloire is also very rich in: paragliding, an artificial ice rink with an area of ​​1800 m2, snowshoe walks, swimming pool, fitness and wellness center (sauna, hammam, jacuzzi, gymnastics), climbing wall and bowling alley. There is a cultural center in the village (cinema, library, multimedia room). The local historical attraction is the so-called The Baroque Trail, which includes the historic 17th-century church in Valloire. The annual snow and ice sculpture competition, in which competitors from various countries take part, is very famous. The village also has discos as well as a good selection of bars, pubs and shops.
