VISA AND PASSPORT

ENTRY RULES . Polish citizens have the right to free movement within the European Union / European Economic Area. Travel document conferring the right to visa-free entry and residence (regardless of its purpose) to 90 days in the territory of the Portuguese Republic, is a passport or identity card. Before leaving, make sure that the document is in good condition and allows them to establish identity.

Attention : In the Autonomous Regions of Madeira and the Azores are the same rules for entry, stay and health care as part of the continental territory of Portugal.
For stays not exceeding three months, EU citizens have the right to reside in another Member State without any additional conditions and formalities, in addition to the need to have a valid identity card or passport.

The right of free movement and residence also has a family member of an EU citizen, whatever his nationality. Restrictions on free movement and residence may be made only in cases of threat to state security and public health.
