Bulgaria is teeming with life in July. It is most crowded on the east coast in famous tourist resorts. The weather is favorable for sunbathing and although the water on the Black Sea coast is not the warmest, it reaches its maximum in July. The beaches have gentle descent to the sea, so they are ideal for families with children and all those who cannot swim very well. All hotels are full of tourists in July, so book your stay in advance. However, if our trip is spontaneous, it is also worth looking for accommodation in private accommodation. In the high season, more and more private owners offer rooms for tourists.
Weather and temperature.
Air temperatures in July in Bulgaria are around 30 ‘C during the day and 23’ C at night. Local rainfall is possible, but it is not very long and heavy. Larger weather fluctuations occur in mountainous regions and there, too, air temperatures are a few degrees lower. Often quite strong and gusty wind blows. The water temperature in July is around 23 ‘C, so it resembles the waters of our native Baltic Sea.

Sunny Beach is one of the most famous and eagerly visited resorts by tourists. It is located in the eastern part of Bulgaria, near the large city of Burgas. It is about 30 km away from it. It is a very old town and there are several architecturally interesting monuments. Most tourists, however, come to Sunny Beach because of the exceptionally beautiful beaches. They have gentle and shallow descents to the sea, so they are perfect for families with children. There are also several playgrounds, swimming pools for children and you can even hire a professional babysitter for a few hours.
