Carthage.
Carthage – one of the small wonders of the world, the capital of the Carthaginian Empire, which was founded in 814 BC by the Phoenicians. Visiting the ancient city of Carthage is reminiscent of the history lessons and conquests of Roman legionnaires.
Matmata.
In the south of Tunisia, the most interesting object – Matmata. In its vicinity you can find numerous underground settlements built by Berbers. Most of these caves – carved into the rocks 10 meters deep – are still inhabited by humans. But today the main attraction of Tunisia is undoubtedly the great desert – the Sahara.
Sahara.
The Sahara desert is a desert zone located in North Africa. It is the largest hot desert on Earth, stretching from the Atlantic Ocean in the west to the Red Sea in the east; to the north it is bordered by the Atlas Mountains and the Mediterranean coast.
