Sofia is the capital of Bulgaria and the largest city in this country. It is located in a valley on the Bojańska River. It is one of the most important cultural and administrative centers of Bulgaria. It is a very old city, the origins of which date back to 500 BC. Sofia is under the influence of a temperate climate, which means that the summers are warm and relatively dry there, and the winters are mild but wet.
