Great ski runs, equipment rentals and schools will encourage even those who have never had skis on their feet. In addition, beautiful views, monuments and many other interesting attractions that will not let anyone get bored there.

February in Bulgaria will surely welcome us with snow and freezing temperatures. The average daytime temperature in this region is -5 ° C. The nights are a bit cooler, with temperatures around -12 ° C. In the mountains, the temperatures are even lower and there is often a strong wind. In the northern lowlands, a rainy February can happen without snow, but the further inland and higher into the mountains, the weather is colder and there will certainly be snow there in February.

Winter attractions.

The main attraction in February will probably be all winter sports. In numerous tourist centers you will find routes for classic downhill, cross-country and cross-country skiing. There are also specially prepared routes for snowboarders and for the youngest, lovers of tobogganing. In the resorts you can rent professional equipment, and you can also enroll in a ski school. However, if we do not belong to winter sports enthusiasts, let’s just dress warmly and go to see the many monuments of Bulgaria. You must see the historic medieval town of Nessebar, Burgas and Balchik with its magnificent botanical garden. It is also worth going to the dolphinarium in Varna, which will also delight with many architectural monuments.
